Cosmetic Miracles
No longer do movie stars have a monopoly on stunning, beautiful smiles! Space age technology has made it possible for the first time to correct the appearance of your smile with dental restorations that are virtually impossible to distinguish from natural teeth. Now you can have the smile of your dreams.
Freshen your appearance with a brighter, lighter smile! Your toothpaste alone can’t always give you the whitest smile possible. Sometimes even professional cleaning can’t remove stains that have penetrated the surface of your teeth.
Bleaching is an effective technique the dentist can use to whiten teeth and brighten your smile by removing stains caused by food, tobacco, coffee, aging, and other sources
The dentist may coat your teeth with a bleaching chemical, then expose it to heat or light. Or the dentist may ask you to use a splint containing whitening solution. It stays in place for one to two weeks. Either way, it doesn’t hurt!
A tooth with a root canal is usually bleached from the inside. The dentist reopens the canal and inserts the chemical bleaching solution. The solution is removed within a week and the opening is resealed.
Bonding applies a tooth-colored material to the enamel of your teeth to cover discolorations, repair chips, fill in gaps between teeth, and repair cracks and breaks.
It is a virtually painless procedure that can be completed in one visit.
Bonding usually lasts 3-5 years, so it may have to be replaced periodically.
Dentures and partials should solve dental problems, not create them! When they don’t perform as well as expected, or if you want to avoid them entirely, implants may be the answer. In many cases you can have teeth replaced with implants that look so much like natural teeth only you will know. Implant dentistry is a fixed, permanent solution for missing teeth.
What is an implant?
An implant is a man-made tooth root which occupies the positions that your natural teeth once held.
What are the benefits?
Implants provide ease of speech, comfort, natural appearance, and the ability to chew food properly for essential digestive processes. They also restore necessary bone stimulation to prevent bone loss.

Orthodontics for a winning smile!
Well-aligned teeth not only give you an attractive smile. They also place less strain on surrounding gums and bone.
Dental health is the most important reason to have teeth straightened. Tooth decay and gum disease are more likely to develop if teeth and jaws don’t line up properly.
Of course, orthodontics can also make your teeth look better!
Your dentist may recommend braces to realign crowded or crooked teeth. Before making that decision, the dentist will examine your profile, teeth, and jaws and watch how you bite and swallow. Your medical and dental histories, x-rays, impressions, and photos will all be examined to determine whether you can benefit from braces.
Everyone’s jaw structure is unique. Your dentist will design orthodontic treatment that will be custom-made - just for you. Some appliances are fixed and remain in place throughout the treatment period. Others are removable - it’s up to you to wear your orthodontic device when you are supposed to!
Alignment problems can’t be solved overnight. How long a treatment takes depends on the nature of the problem, the patient’s cooperation in wearing the appliance, and whether other kinds of treatment are needed. Usually, there will be a 2-3 year period of active treatment followed by 2-3 more years of retention treatment.
